A serious A1 French course for adult beginners, with a certification at the end: Friday evenings, in Massy or on Zoom.

You live in France and your French is holding you back: an appointment at the OFII or the préfecture, a form to fill in, a job interview, instructions at work.

This course is built for that: solid A1 foundations, with a teacher and a small group of adults who are starting out, just like you. At the end, you receive a certificate of attendance, and an A1 certification (TCF, DELF or LILATE) if you take the final exam.

What we work on, session after session

• Introducing yourself. Say who you are, ask for and give simple information.

• Asking and answering questions. At the administration, at work, at the doctor’s: the exchanges you cannot avoid.

• Reading short texts. Forms, letters, signs: what you need to understand for your paperwork.

• Writing a short message. A short email or note, simple and clear.

Skills acquired may vary depending on each participant’s starting level, attendance and personal work.

• Fridays, 7:30 to 9 pm

• First class: Friday 6 November 2026

• 30 hours: 20 sessions of 1.5 hours

• At MALAC in Massy (2 ter avenue de France) or on Zoom

• Adults (16+) who are beginners: no prerequisite. A placement test checks your level with you.

• Certificate of attendance, and A1 certification (TCF, DELF or LILATE) if you take the final exam

• €595 for the course
